Collected Edition: Jewels of Nature

Kasia Wisniewski is the designer and creator behind Collected Edition on Etsy. Her pieces immediately caught my eye as they resemble beautiful treasures from nature captured in jewellery, something artisans have aspired to for centuries. I became fascinated reading more about Kasia's genius 3D printing process, the following explanation is borrowed from the Collected Edition Etsy store:

"Our bronze, brass, and silver pieces are first printed in wax and then are created through traditional lost-wax casting. After casting, they are carefully polished and finished by hand. We design eclectic, modern pieces at the intersection of modern manufacturing and handcraft. By approaching techniques such as 3D modelling and printing, digital design, and laser cutting with an eye trained in couture methods and bespoke design, we're proving that there's such a thing as made by hand AND machine." - Kasia Wisniewski
